Mountaineering Club RUJNO, Užice
MC „RUJNO“ was established in 1996, in Užice. We organize one-day or several-days mountaineering expeditions and trips around Uzice, throughout Serbia and beyond the borders of our country.
We participate in all the events, both competitive, and cultural, that are related to our city.
We are especially proud of our activities related to the protection and preservation of nature. The aforementioned activities are performed together with the adult members of our club, as well as with school-age children in urban and rural schools.
We are engaged in marking hiking paths around town, and at the invitation of other mountaineering clubs from our country and abroad we provide help using our extensive experience and knowledge in marking and tracing new paths.
There are many activities and expeditions conducted during these 16 years of the company. We will mention just a few of the peaks climbed:
Aconcagua 6970m, Kilimanjaro 5898m, Mont Blanc 4840m, Damavand 5640m, Elbrus, 5630m, Ararat 5140m, Grand Paradiso 4061m, Erciyes 3917m, Kachkar 3550m, Musala 2928m, Triglav 2864m and many other peaks.
The Club performs its actions every weekend throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions. Actions are led by experienced guides who primarily care about the security of each participant.
